Health and Safety Services

If you are a client of IRS you have access to a health and safety advisory service.  This can be used for any appointments you are managing, or are about to manage.

The objective of this service is to provide support and advice to you and your colleagues when you are faced with a situation that could create problems in respect of the management of health and safety issues.

The Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974 is the principal legislation - and IPs and Property Receivers need to be aware of the Act and its implications.

The service constitutes

  • Access to a comprehensive health and safety library
  • A telephone advisory service (available 8.30 to 5.30 hrs) call 0116 243 7887
  • A health and safety check list
  • Updates on health and safety legislation

Of course, it is not always practical to rely on advice or information sourced remotely from the physical site of the appointment itself and, so, the service can extend to provide on-site compliance audits for a fee that is agreed in advance.

Qdos Consulting and IRS

Qdos are a third party contractor to IRS specialising in business compliance services including health & safety.  Based in the East Midlands they employ specialist consultants who are able to provide remote advice on health and safety matters.  Remote advice is meant to provide an overview and can be used with on-site services that can be arranged by IRS.
